  • How are concrete masonry framed homes less toxic than stick built homes?

  • How would I hang a picture on the wall?

    Concrete masonry framed homes are built using cmu as the framing of the home but the inside of the home uses insulation and sheetrock.  Pictures, tapestries or other decretive items would be applied to the walls per their application.

  • Does using block limit the design or shape of the house?

    Design options are actually more flexible since cmu (concrete block) products are made with a variety of shapes and sizes.  When builders use cmu products they have a great deal of flexibility with the way the home is framed and the exterior cladding materials that can greatly enhance the look of the home and increase curb appeal.  Some exterior design options include brick veneer, fiber cement siding which gives the appearance of wood siding, stone veneers which are offered in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes, stucco veneer which allows for a many variations of looks from a simulated timber to a briar or sweep affect.
