Hardscape pavers have become a popular alternative to using asphalt or poured concrete for use on drives, walkways, patios, and sunrooms. Aesthetically pleasing, hardscapes are attractive and come in all different shapes, colors and patterns. The design possibilities for a unique area are endless due to the flexibility and versatility of the product. Paving stones are also popular due to their maintenance-free quality compared to the upkeep of alternative products such as poured concrete, asphalt, stenciled concrete or clay brick. Damage from deicing salts and snowplows is eliminated and because they are made of high-density concrete, pavers are twice as strong and less absorbent than poured concrete.
